Matt has been a wonderful tutor and has definitely been the best and most knowledgeable tutor I’ve had, especially in SAT Math. Every session was enjoyable and made me a more analytical student with better understanding of question types/their corresponding procedures. He has been so incredibly helpful, and is easy to contact and quick to reply to any questions you may have. I had a great experience; do not hesitate to sign up for tutoring with him!

How It Works
01
Address content gaps
Even students with great grades have likely forgotten some algebra from freshman year or a grammar rule they haven’t used. I can help your child find and fill in those gaps before test day, making sure their foundation is solid before building on it.
02
Find the preferred way to solve a problem
The SAT is tricky, and many questions can be solved in more than one way. I don’t believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all, method. I show students different ways to approach a problem, then figure out which one makes the most sense to them. The “best” approach is the one that clicks for the student and gets them the right answer consistently.
03
Practice for test day
Knowing the material is only part of the battle. We work on the essential test-day skills: managing time, handling stress, when to skip questions, etc. My goal for your child is to walk into the test feeling calm, prepared, and in control.
